Pelador Dec 4 2017, 01:03 AM What did you used to hunt? Deer and wild hogs. Wild hogs are open season year around regardless of the reason you're shooting. The population in Texas of wild hogs is a problem and hunters can't kill them fast enough. They destroy property, make large holes in areas that could damage vehicles. https://tpwd.texas.gov/huntwild/wild/nuisance/feral_hogs/ We've also attempted several times to make traps for them. One was a large welded cage we built with a door and a feeding bucket where if they stepped on a platform to eat out of it would slam shut. It worked really well.
